Squishy Fishy Kitties

Help your kawaii kitty in her endeavours to catch squishy fishies!

An experimental game made in 1.5 days for https://itch.io/jam/gdl-fishing-jam 

Please give it a few minutes -- it takes a while to load! There'll be a loading bar then a big pause while it gets it all ready!  Don't give up, the cute is almost definitely worth the wait ;-)  Oh and hit "full screen" once it starts.  Much better.  Escape gets you back.

How to play

• Holding the left mouse button on a point and release to jump towards it (longer hold = bigger jump).
• Hold and drag the right mouse button to move the view (and mouse-wheel for zoom).
• Catch the fish
• Avoid water!!!

Sadly the game isn't complete but for 1.5 days, it's not bad and I learnt things which makes it all worthwhile :)

EDIT: Uploaded a post-Jam build for Android and Windows 2 and 4 days later, respectively.  Unsurprisingly the post-jam build is better so play those if you're not rating.  I'll leave the WebGL build above fixed at Jam version until judging period finishes.
